FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Reds have reached agreement with infielder Jack Hannahan on a one-year, $2 million contract.
This is more than Hannahan projected to make in arbitration prior to being non-tendered by the Indians last month, so he did pretty well here. The 32-year-old infielder batted .244/.312/.341 with four home runs, 29 RBI and a .654 OPS this past season and figures to serve as Todd Frazier's backup at third base. He'll once again be teammates with Shin-Soo Choo and Jason Donald, who were traded to the Reds on Tuesday night.
