Jason Bohn turned in a 3-under-par 34-33=67 as his opening round of the FedEx St. Jude Classic, finishing one stroke adrift of the clubhouse co-leaders.
Bohn has taken two weeks off since a season-best T21 at the Byron Nelson, but he didn't carry any rust with him to TPC Southwind. He went 6-for-7 in scrambling thanks to par saves of 16'3" and 15'8" at the 10th and 12th holes, respectively. He also picked off four birdies, three of which measuring from 11-14 feet. At the time he signed his card, he led the field in strokes gained-putting with a clip north of 4.800.
