Gailey: Spiller in for big-time workloads
C.J. Spiller - RB - Buffalo Bills
Dec. 10, 2012 - 3:55 PM ET

Speaking at Monday's presser, Bills coach Chan Gailey said C.J. Spiller will "get (the ball) as much as he wants" in Fred Jackson's absence.

Jackson is out for the season with a sprained MCL. This isn't the first time Gailey has pledged a bigger workload for his electric former first-round pick, but he doesn't have any choice this time around. Spiller touched the ball only eight times in Sunday's narrow loss, and in a ridiculous bit of symbolism, it was Tashard Choice, not Spiller, who got the first snap after Jackson went down. Regardless, Choice won't be a threat to Spiller's supremacy for the final three games of the season. Averaging 6.6 yards per carry and 7.3 yards per touch, Spiller will be a high-end RB1 for the final two weeks of the fantasy playoffs.
