RGIII on knee injury: 'Shouldn't be an ACL'
Robert Griffin III - QB - Washington Redskins
Dec. 9, 2012 - 5:30 PM ET

Robert Griffin III downplayed his fourth-quarter right knee injury, but acknowledged that an MRI is coming Sunday night.

It was a good sign that Griffin was allowed to take the podium to speak to the press after the game. The Redskins also let RGIII return to the sidelines in overtime after his initial evaluation. "I'm gonna be alright. Nothing's broken," said a smiling Griffin. "It shouldn't be an ACL. I know what that feels like." Griffin tore an ACL at Baylor, and doctors told him his ligaments felt "good" after sideline and post-game tests. We'll learn more about Griffin's availability for Week 15 against the Browns in the coming days.
