Rangers confim Kinsler as first base option

Rangers GM Jon Daniels confirmed the team is considering moving Ian Kinsler to first base next season.
With the Michael Young trade approved the Rangers are looking for a platoon partner for Mitch Moreland in free agency, but moving Kinsler could allow them to start top-prospect Jurickson Profar at second base and keep Elvis Andrus at shortstop. "That's something we've talked about, but we haven't made that call yet," Daniels said. "It depends on some other moves we make. It's a possibility."
