The Tampa Bay Times' Marc Topkin believes Wade Davis is "ticketed to start, somewhere" next season.
The Rays could potentially deal him to a team that would use him as a starter, or they could stick him in their rotation after trading a current rotation member. Davis seemed to find his niche in 2012 as a reliever, posting a 2.43 ERA while striking out 87 over 70 1/3 innings, but it seems the Rays haven't given up on him as a starter.
