Jarrod Lyle updated his followers on Twitter with positive news on his health.
Lyle wrote: "Got results from my 12 month tests and there is NO sign of leukemia! Been a tough road but things are looking up. Couldn't be happier!!" It's impossible not to feel for the guy especially since he's been through this process once before. As of two months ago, he was hoping to return to competition in 2014, but in the absence of a setback, you can't rule out an appearance or two later this year, even if it's in the fall portion of the 2013-14 schedule. When he returns, he'll have 20 starts on a medical extension in the reshuffle category to earn $285,825 and a promotion to the Major Medical category.
