Marcus Thornton played 17 minutes on Saturday, the second time in three games that he's played under 18 minutes.
The Kings' sixth-man is shooting a putrid 4-of-23 from the field over that stretch, but it's a chicken-or-the-egg scenario and he seems understandably discomfited in his role with Sacramento's second unit. He's scraping rock-bottom when we'd expect him to be thriving with Tyreke Evans sidelined, but this minimal role shouldn't last much longer, so stay patient.
