Dodgers, Hyun-Jin expected to go to deadline

According to Jim Bowden of ESPN and SiriusXM, the Dodgers expect the negotiations with Ryu Hyun-Jin and his agent Scott Boras to go right down to the deadline.
The Dodgers have reportedly made Hyun-Jin a long-term offer, but it fell "predictably" short. While there's still time for a deal to get done, it appears that in the interim, the Dodgers focus remains on other starting pitchers in the free agent marketplace. Boras may need to lower his demands if a deal is to be consummated.
