Nate Menkin sent to I.R. with throat injury

Eagles placed G/T Nate Menkin on injured reserve with a throat injury, ending his season.
Per Menkin's Twitter feed, he has "fractured cartilage in my throat." Ouch. A reserve lineman, Menkin made zero appearances after being claimed off waivers from the Texans in September. The UDFA out of Mary Hardin-Baylor will be hard-pressed to earn a roster spot out of camp next season.
