Wi loses sectional playoff; WDs from St. Jude

Charlie Wi has been removed from the published field of this week's FedEx St. Jude Classic.
Wi was one of the four eliminated in the 11-for-7 playoff at the U.S. Open sectional playoff in Columbus, Ohio on Monday. He missed a short putt before picking up and walking off. He's played in each of the last four weeks and cashed in every start, but placed no better than T55 at THE PLAYERS. So, he'll take at least two weeks off to recharge. He's currently 114th in FedExCup points.
