Knowshon Moreno's 69 yards after contact versus the Raiders Thursday night are a career-high and the second-most by a Broncos running back in the past four seasons.
Moreno's 32 carries were the most by a Denver back since Reuben Droughns' 38 in 2004 and the second-most by any NFL runner this season. Although Moreno will never be a big-play threat, he was decisive to the hole and especially effective killing the clock, churning out 59 yards on 12 fourth-quarter carries. Moreno is averaging 24 carries, 91 rushing yards, and 29.3 receiving yards in three starts after Willis McGahee's season-ending injury.
