Royals 'exploring group of starters'

The Royals are "exploring a group of starters" that includes fee agent right-hander Jair Jurrjens.
That's the word from Jerry Crasnick of ESPN, who tabs right-handers Brett Myers and Kevin Correia as other possibilities for Kansas City. Jurrjens was non-tendered by the Braves in late November after posting a brutal 6.89 ERA and 1.86 WHIP across 48 1/3 innings in 2012.
