According to CSN New England's Sean McAdam, Koji Uehara's one-year deal is worth about $4.5 million.
A pretty slick grab for the Red Sox. Uehara battled a lat injury in 2012 but was among the more dominant relievers in the league when healthy, posting a 1.75 ERA, 0.64 WHIP and 43/3 K/BB ratio in 36 innings. If he can stay off the disabled list, he will be great for the Red Sox.
