Levin flashes form at U.S. Open sectional
June 3, 2013 - 9:50 PM ET

Spencer Levin returned to competition today at the U.S. Open sectional qualifier in Columbus, Ohio, posting 6-under-par 71-67=138, two strokes too high to join the massive playoff for the final seven of 15 berths up for grabs.

Ignore that he didn't earn an exemption into the field at Merion. He squared only four bogeys against 10 birdies at Brookside Golf & Country Club (first round) and The Lakes Golf & Country Club (second). Unless he changes his plans again, look for him to return to PGA TOUR-sanctioned action on the Web.com Tour in a couple of months. As a result, we'll leave him on our Injury Report until then.
