Chargers WR Brown unlikely to play in 2012

Chargers WR Vincent Brown (ankle, injured reserve designated for return) is unlikely to play this season.
When asked if he'd play this season, Brown admitted "most likely not." The second-year wideout returned to the field for workouts last month, but officially has yet to begin practicing. Brown's rehab process has been going smoothly, but he said he'd most likely be "chilling" on the sidelines for the season's final four games. Brown should push for No. 3 receiver duties in 2013 behind Malcom Floyd and Danario Alexander, who will be a restricted free agent. Robert Meachem could continue to slide down the depth chart.
