Cubs not negotiating with Ryan Dempster

Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times says that reports of talks between the Cubs and Ryan Dempster "grossly misrepresents their nature" and negotiations are "not happening."
He goes on to say that a reunion is "implausible," while finishing out his tweet with a #courtesy hashtag. In other words, it appears that a report from Bruce Levine of ESPN Chicago doesn't need to be taken too seriously. Dempster is on the lookout for a three-year deal, with the Brewers, Royals and Red Sox showing interest.
