Nationals 'confident' they can retain LaRoche

According to FOX Sports' Jon Morosi, the Nationals "remain confident" they can re-sign Adam LaRoche.
LaRoche has drawn interest from a number of teams, but it doesn't sound like he's been offered any sort of long-term deal. The Nats are hoping to get him back on a two-year pact. LaRoche, 33, batted .271/.343/.510 with 33 home runs and 100 RBI this past year for Washington.
