Yankees have spoken to Youkilis, Pierzynski

Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said Tuesday that he's spoken to both A.J. Pierzynski and Kevin Youkilis.
It confirms an earlier report from Jack Curry of YES Network regarding Youkilis and offers new news on Pierzynski. There have been multiple reports indicating that the Yankees are unlikely to go after Pierzynski, but obviously they're at least kicking the tires. Youkilis would fill in at third base while Alex Rodriguez is out before sliding into the DH slot when A-Rod returns.
