D'Backs deal for Cabrera 'currently dormant'

Buster Olney of ESPN.com hears that the Diamondbacks have constructed a four-team trade that would land them Asdrubal Cabrera, but the deal is "currently dormant."
It's possible it could get revitalized, but, as of now, it doesn't appear likely. The D'Backs are trying hard to land a shortstop this winter and would obviously love to net either Elvis Andrus or Jurickson Profar for Justin Upton. Japanese infielder Hiroyuki Nakajima is also on their radar.
