Red Sox getting close to deal with Victorino

According to ESPN Boston's Gordon Edes, the Red Sox are "getting close" to signing Shane Victorino.
The Red Sox have reportedly offered the outfielder a three-year deal worth close to $38 million. That's a big chunk of change for a guy who hit just .255/.321/.383 in 2012, but the Boston front office clearly thinks he can bounce back. The Indians are also known to have interest.
