Redskins CB Cedric Griffin has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on performance enhancing substances.
Most of these suspensions have been for Adderall, though that's not confirmed in Griffin's case. The suspension kicks in immediately, which means Griffin will miss the final four games of the regular season. He had been playing in nickel packages as the third cornerback. Rookie Richie Crawford is the top candidate to take his place.
