Bidding on Scutaro going three years, $24M
Marco Scutaro - 2B - San Francisco Giants
Dec. 4, 2012 - 3:15 PM ET

ESPN's Buster Olney reports that the bidding on free agent infielder Marco Scutaro has reached something in the range of three years and $24 million.

Yikes. Olney was told by a source involved that the Giants are viewed as the front-runners, but that's a steep price to keep the 37-year-old infielder in the fold. The Cardinals and Yankees have also been mentioned as possible suitors.
