Dale Earnhardt Jr. returns to NNS competition for the first time since finishing fourth in the season-opener at Daytona.
Counting both Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series events, Earnhardt Jr. has competed in a total of 16 races at Las Vegas and has finished a career-best 2nd on three separate occasions (twice in Cup). He has done quite well since the track was revamped in 2006, which featured a substantial increase in banking from 12 to 20 degrees. Since then, he has five top-10s in seven total races.-JR Motorsports
