Jaime Garcia to pitch in WBC

Jaime Garcia plans to pitch for Mexico during the World Baseball Classic.
Garcia was shut down on two occasions during the 2012 season due to shoulder issues, so the Cardinals can't be too thrilled about the left-hander's decision. General manager John Mozeliak said he's "encouraged that physically (Garcia) feels like he can compete." Garcia has thrown off the mound a few times since being shut down following his removal from an NLDS start.
