Reds have offer out to Ryan Ludwick

Reds manager Dusty Baker said Monday that the club has made an offer to free agent outfielder Ryan Ludwick.
No word on the specifics, but they'll need to offer multiple years in order to retain him. The 34-year-old outfielder batted .275/.346/.531 with 26 home runs and 80 RBI in 125 games with the Reds in 2012. CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reported earlier Monday that the Mariners have checked in on his asking price.
