49ers sticking with David Akers

The 49ers are sticking with David Akers (pelvis) at kicker.
Akers missed yet another field goal in Sunday's loss ' a potential game-winning kick in overtime ' but coach Jim Harbaugh believes the attempt was "well-struck." Although Akers' struggles are supposedly the result of a pelvis injury, that doesn't make his 21-of-30 field-goal success rate any more palatable. The 49ers are willing to risk Akers costing them more games, but fantasy owners shouldn't be.
