Lewis: Peerman has no timetable for return
Cedric Peerman - RB - Cincinnati Bengals
Dec. 3, 2012 - 1:20 PM ET

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis declined to put a timetable on Cedric Peerman's (ankle) return at his Monday presser.

Lewis only called the injury an "ankle sprain," although Peerman exited the stadium following Sunday's win with a walking boot on his foot and using crutches. The signs point toward a potential high ankle sprain. Peerman had been giving the Bengals a big lift as a change-of-pace back. Brian Leonard figures to see a small uptick in snaps moving forward, behind BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
