Julian Edelman was spotted on crutches and in a walking boot after he hurt his foot in Sunday's win over the Dolphins.
Edelman left in the fourth quarter and was unable to return. Even before departing, he was used mostly as a blocker in a Patriots' gameplan dominated by Wes Welker and Aaron Hernandez. Edelman finished with one catch for 13 yards on three targets. He was replaced in three-wide sets by special teams ace Matthew Slater.
