Packers place TE Quarless on injured reserve

Packers placed TE Andrew Quarless (knee) on season-ending injured reserve.

Quarless was activated from PUP three-and-a-half weeks ago after he tore his ACL and MCL last December, but he never played a snap this year. He recently revealed that he may need arthroscopic surgery after the knee swelled in practices. Quarless will return for the final year of his rookie deal in 2013, though he might miss some offseason work.
