Karlsson stays the course in the second round

Robert Karlsson backed up his opening 69 at the Memorial with a 1-under-par 35-36=71 in the second round to reach the midpoint in 4-under 140, five strokes off the 36-hole clubhouse lead.
That he signed for a red number today is mildly impressive. He converted on only three of 14 birdie opportunities -- the longest of which from 15'4" at the sixth hole -- missed four putt inside 10 feet and parred all four par 5s. He also got up and down just twice.
