The Yankees are planning to complete a pact with Mariano Rivera on Friday, reports ESPN's Jayson Stark.

"The two sides have agreed on the parameters of a one-year deal," writes Stark, and are finishing up the details of that contract Thursday. Rivera is coming off surgery for a torn right ACL but is fully expected to be ready for the start of spring training next February. The 43-year-old right-hander was limited to just 8 1/3 innings in 2012.
