Danny Amendola (heel) was back in a walking boot Wednesday.

Perhaps Amendola shouldn't have played through a "doubtful" tag for seven snaps last week. He couldn't play in the second half of that win over the Cardinals and still appears too sore to practice. Even if Amendola does end up dressing against the Niners this week, the risk of in-game aggravation will be significant. He's shaping up as a WR3 gamble at best.
