According to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, the Braves are in "serious talks" with free agent outfielder B.J. Upton.
The Nationals, Giants, Rangers and Phillies have also been linked to Upton this offseason and could still make a final push. The dynamic 28-year-old batted .246/.298/.454 with 28 home runs, 78 RBI and 31 stolen bases in 146 games this past season for Tampa Bay. He's thought to be looking for a five-year contract.
