Coach Pat Shurmur expects Brandon Weeden (concussion) to play in Sunday's game against the Raiders after getting in a limited practice on Wednesday.
Weeden has already been cleared to practice and will do everything he normally does. Shurmur won't even give Colt McCoy extra reps in case his starter has a setback. Weeden does get the Raiders' 24th-ranked pass defense this week, but he'll still be a weak QB2 play. The rookie has been held under 210 passing yards in each of his last four games and has just three touchdown passes during that span.
