Ben Tate to come back as special teamer?
Ben Tate - RB - Houston Texans
Nov. 28, 2012 - 5:15 PM ET

Coach Gary Kubiak said Ben Tate (hamstring) will probably have to start out on special teams when he returns.

Tate practiced in full on Wednesday, and says he has a "100 percent chance" of playing this week. He has been out since Week 7. During that time, Justin Forsett has rushed 22 times for 180 yards with a touchdown. Of course, 81 of those yards and the touchdown never should have counted. Regardless, it's not surprising Kubiak wants to ease Tate back in. But by the time Week 14 rolls around, he should be back in place as Arian Foster's primary backup. There's a major talent gap between Tate and Forsett.
