D'Backs sign Teahen to minors deal

Diamondbacks signed OF Mark Teahen to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
The 31-year-old batted just .260/.328/.360 in 500 plate appearances this past season for the Nationals' Triple-A affiliate in Syracuse, New York. Teahen was once a promising, young, versatile player for the Royals, but he will now struggle to reach the MLB level with Arizona.
