Andre Brown suffers broken leg against Pack
Andre Brown - RB - New York Giants
Nov. 25, 2012 - 11:55 PM ET

Andre Brown has been diagnosed with a broken left fibula.

Awful news. Brown is out indefinitely, and doubtful to see the field again in 2012-13 barring a deep playoff run from the defending champions. A much bigger burden will now fall on the shoulders of brittle lead back Ahmad Bradshaw, whose foot woes have mostly prevented him from taking the practice field over the past month. The upshot is, the Giants now have no choice but to get electric rookie back David Wilson more involved. Wilson can be immediately added as a potential stretch run flex option, but it will be Bradshaw who takes over goal-line duties from Brown. Wilson's struggles with ball security and pass protection could end up limiting him to only 5-6 touches per game.
