Red Sox confirm meeting with Mike Napoli

The Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo confirms the Red Sox met with Mike Napoli this weekend.
Mike Silverman of the Boston Herald adds that the meeting took place Saturday and owner John Henry, manager John Farrell, and GM Ben Cherington were all in attendance. According to ESPN's Jim Bowden, Napoli is "determined" to get a fourth year and is "waiting on the Red Sox or Rangers." The Mariners visited with Napoli earlier this week and are also still reportedly in the mix.
