Bucs placed WR Arrelious Benn (knee, shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Benn was supposed to be the Bucs' No. 3 wideout behind Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams this season. It never happened. He couldn't get over the MCL sprain he sustained on the first day of training camp and ended up making his biggest contributions on special teams while Tiquan Underwood ran with the third receiver job. Benn will be in the final year of his rookie contract in 2013. He finishes the 2012 campaign with four catches for 26 yards in eight appearances.
