Signs pointing to Kaepernick starting Sunday

According to the Sacramento Bee's Matt Barrows, all signs -- "at least for now" -- point to Colin Kaepernick starting at New Orleans in Week 12.
Alex Smith (concussion) is still awaiting clearance from doctors on a shorter than normal work week. "I'm kind of in the middle of it," Smith acknowledged on his concussion protocol. Coach Jim Harbaugh clearly left the door open to keep riding Kaepernick's hot hand after Monday night's masterful performance. Harbaugh is due to address the media at noon pacific time on Wednesday.
