Cutler 'can't say for sure' that he will play

Although coach Lovie Smith expressed optimism after Monday's loss, Jay Cutler (concussion) "can't say for sure" that he will play versus the Vikings in Week 12.
Doctors explained to Cutler that the concern arises when a player doesn't get back to normal after a few days. He's still going through the process and has a "few more hoops to jump through" this week. "I will play again this year," said Cutler, "no doubt about that." Cutler's outlook doesn't appear to be as rosy as his head coach made it out to be after watching his offense faceplant at San Francisco.
