The Blue Jays have decided to bring back John Gibbons as their next manager, the Toronto Sun reports.
Gibbons was hardly a success while managing the team from 2004-08, but the Jays think it's worth giving him another shot anyway. Of course, it's not the first time they've gone this route; Cito Gaston was Gibbons' replacement in 2008 and he was another rehire. At this rate, Buck Martinez might be back managing the Jays in 2015.
