Report: Steelers hope Ben can play in Week 13

According to ESPN, Steelers doctors are "hopeful, though hardly optimistic," that Ben Roethlisberger (ribs, shoulder) will return for the Week 13 rematch with the Ravens.
Doctors believe Roethlisberger will ultimately miss three weeks, leaving Week 14 versus the Chargers as a more realistic target date. Big Ben was reportedly in as much pain Friday as he was last Monday night, immediately after sustaining the injuries. With Byron Leftwich now battling a rib injury that severely limited his ability to pass down the field, the Steelers may be forced to roll with Charlie Batch in Week 12 at Cleveland.
