Brandon Lloyd held to four catches in rout
Brandon Lloyd - WR - New England Patriots
Nov. 18, 2012 - 8:30 PM ET

Brandon Lloyd caught four passes for 45 yards in New England's Week 11 rout of the Colts.

A starter in each of New England's first nine games, Lloyd technically came off the bench behind Julian Edelman. It's a vaguely concerning development, though Lloyd's use remained the same as it has all season. He's now failed to clear 45 yards in each of his past four games, and is averaging just 52.5 on the season. It's long past time to abandon dreams of Lloyd being an every-week WR2 in New England's explosive offense.
