Gates held to 17 yards on 2 receptions
Antonio Gates - TE - San Diego Chargers
Nov. 18, 2012 - 8:20 PM ET

Antonio Gates caught two balls for 17 yards in the Chargers' Week 11 loss to the Broncos.

He was only targeted four times. Gates just wasn't getting open, so Philip Rivers looked to Danario Alexander (11 targets), Malcom Floyd (6), and Ryan Mathews (6). The Broncos seemed to clamp down on Gates after he beat them so badly for 80-plus yards and two touchdowns in the teams' Week 6 meeting. Expect Gates to bounce back in Week 12 against the Ravens.
