Brandon LaFell caught five passes for 93 yards with a touchdown in the Panthers' Week 11 overtime loss to the Bucs.
It was an ideal situation for LaFell. The Bucs' league-worst secondary was focused on Steve Smith, they lost top corner Eric Wright to an Achilles aggravation and LaFell tied for the team lead with seven targets. His touchdown came on a pretty 24-yard route up the middle that gave the Panthers a 21-10 lead with six minutes left in regulation. LaFell will be a desperation WR4 option against the Eagles' woeful defense in Week 12.
