Carl Pavano getting some interest

Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe writes that Carl Pavano's agent, Dave Pepe, has "received a few preliminary calls" on his client.
Pavano was limited to just 11 starts this season due to shoulder issues, but Cafardo says he was "given a clean bill of health in September." If he is indeed healthy, the veteran right-hander wouldn't be a bad gamble on a modest one-year deal. He might have to settle for a non-guaranteed contract.
