Giants focused on re-signing Angel Pagan

Andrew Baggarly of CSNBayArea.com reports that the Giants are focused on re-signing Angel Pagan.
Giants manager Bruce Bochy spoke with Pagan on Thursday and Baggarly hears that there's greater optimism that a deal will eventually be reached. The 31-year-old is believed to be looking for a three-year contract. On a related note, Baggarly hears that the Giants never engaged in talks with Melky Cabrera before he signed a two-year, $16 million deal with the Blue Jays on Friday.
