Coach Chan Gailey said Tashard Choice often replaced C.J. Spiller in the red zone Thursday night because the starter "gets winded."
Spiller admitted to NFL Network that he lost his wind a time or two, but insists he's in shape. He missed six consecutive plays at the end of the first half and touched the ball just once on 11 red-zone plays. The offense predictably stalled whenever Spiller left the game. "When someone questions you as a man, I take that to heart," Spiller said. "People are saying I'm too small and can't do it. And I just wanted to come out and show them I could do it. I could've toted it 30 times tonight if I wanted."
